Miraval Resort & Spa

Built in 2001, the St Regis Monarch Beach Hotel was bought by KSL Capital Partners in 2014, who hired TFO to investigate ways that the hotel and extensive grounds could be remodeled to strengthen the relationship of the hotel to the grounds, to update and re-think the lawn and pool areas, and to open the public spaces to the ocean view. A major program need was to upgrade and possibly expand the existing restaurant terrace areas and to provide new food and beverage service at the main pool area. TFO provided several different options showing different potential uses and configurations of the lawn and aquatics areas, and is currently going forward with the preferred option through construction drawings.
